Our Chairman, Satish Reddy, and CEO – API & Services, Deepak Sapra, met Mr. Bill Gates and senior Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation leaders at the India Pharma Manufacturers’ Roundtable yesterday. The two organizations are deeply committed to access and affordability in healthcare, particularly in low and middle-income countries. The leaders discussed our collaborative work during the pandemic, current priorities, and the potential for new partnerships in the future. As demographics, disease patterns, technologies, and solutions evolve, such collaborative discussions present an opportunity to combine our strengths and capabilities.

In 2022, we put access, affordability, and innovation at the center of our business strategy through refreshed patient-oriented ESG goals. We will aim to serve over 1.5 billion patients globally by 2030, for 25% of our launches to be first-to-market by 2027 and introduce three innovations to improve the standard of care. Our focus on agility, access, and affordability helped us reach over 5 million patients during the pandemic. Through these bolder goals, we aim to set the bar higher.
